I’m a former early elementary teacher and mom of four who creates resources to help kids become confident, fluent readers who actually love to read.
My Story
I’m a former early elementary teacher who now teaches part time in a mixed-grade classroom. After years working with young learners, I know firsthand how important it is for learning to feel clear, supportive, and confidence-building, for kids and for the teachers guiding them.
At Sprout & Harvest Teaching, I create reading resources, math materials, and fun activity pages designed for early elementary learners. Everything is built to be simple for teachers to use and genuinely effective for students.

A Little About Me
I’m a lifelong learner and teacher at heart, which pretty much means my brain is always running. I live out in the country in Florida with my husband and our four kids: two grown boys and two elementary-aged girls who keep me very much in the thick of it. Having kids at both ends of the journey has given me a unique perspective on what early learning really sets kids up for.
Growing up in the 80s and 90s means I’ve had a front-row seat to how much education has changed over the years. I’ve watched new ideas come and go, some of them genuinely good and some of them not so much. That perspective shapes how I approach creating resources: I’m not chasing trends, I’m focused on what actually works for kids. I’m always full of ideas and have more on my list than hours in the day (sound familiar?). I’m a recovering coffee addict doing my best, and you’ll find me hiking, exploring somewhere new with the family, or standing in front of the menu trying to decide between pizza and sushi.
